Oslo Summer School is a free offer to all students who attend school and lives in Oslo. The courses are offered the first two weeks and last two weeks of the students summer break – week 26, 27, 32 and 33, and lasts from Monday to Friday for one week.
All courses are connected to one of the subjects Norwegian, maths, nature and science, English, foreign language, IT or vocational. Mutual aim for all courses is that the students learns something new, gets professional challenge and good experiences in a safe and social educational environment.
Since 2013 Astrup Fearnley Museet has been part of the course: Tell with photo – stories with digital tools under the educational level IT for grades 3.- 4.
"We use cameras and other digital tools to tell and write stories. You learn to use programs and techniques to edit images and text, and we go for a guided tour and creative workshop at Astrup Fearnley Museet".
