Book launch: Dialogue based education

Astrup Fearnley Museet
Event type
Would you like to use the art museum as learning space in your teaching? Do you want the students to use their curiosity and creativity and learning through discussions and practical activities?

In the book Dialogue-based teaching. The art museum as learning space, you can read about how experienced museum educators meet children and young people and get them to explore issues, exchange opinions and develop new ideas. Based on the art and design students are engaged in discussion not only about art, but about history, society, sustainability and identity.

Astrup Fearnley Museet, LNU and Fagbokforlaget invite to a presentation of the book Dialogue-based teaching. The art museum as learning space by Olga Dysthe, Nana Bernhardt and Line Esbjørn.

You will learn about dialogue-based teaching and be served useful ideas on how you can use the Art Museum in your own teaching. The museum's own experienced educators present the collection, which includes a number of iconic works from the international contemporary art. Here it is guaranteed a lot to talk about! The presentation and tour will be in Norwegian.
