The architecture of the museum will be presented in this lecture by Olaf de Nooyer, partner to Renzo Piano Building Workshop and central to the planning and implementation of the museums architecture.
 

Olaf de Nooyer (b. 1960  Netherlands) is partner to Renzo Piano Building Workshop. He has worked together with Piano since 1990 in addition to the rehabilitation with the Port of Genoa Columbus exhibition in 1992. Nooyer was head of Nemo Science Center in Amsterdam and has worked with Aurora Place building in Sydney. He was also responsible for the new construction of California Academy of Science in San Francisco. Nooyer became partner to Renzo Piano Building Workshop in 1997. See www.rpbw.com
