Join us on our September-tours and discover more about the paintings in the Astrup Fearnley Collection.
Contemporary art is recognised by its multimedial artistic expressions where new media such as video art, photography, performance and installations dominates. However, painting has always been present and further developed by artists like Peter Blake, Anselm Kiefer and Christopher Wool. With the exhibition The World is Made of Stories as a backdrop, we will look at different painting tendencies in contemporary art, such as pop art, appropriation, expressionism and text based work.
The tour is drop-in with a maximum of 20 adults. The tour is free with museum admission.
Please note, all baby tours are conducted in Norwegian.
