Welcome to ART NIGHT! One Thursday a month we invite you to experience our temporary exhibit for only NOK 50! The museum bar VINGEN serve their special cocktails, and there will be music by guest artists.

 

EVENING OPEN EXHIBITION - DRINKS - MUSIC

The time has finally come for the first ART NIGHT in the brand new exhibition Murakami by Murakami! Enjoy an evening visit in the exhibition, taste Vingen Bar's new cocktail menu and dance to beats by DJ-duoen Blond!

Astrup Fearnley Museet is proud to be the first institution in Scandinavia to present a solo exhibition of the world-famous Japanese artist Takashi Murakami! In the last twenty years, Murakami has been extremely visible on the international art scene, but he has also taken an active role in Japan, redefining the position of the artist through his involvement in different arenas of society. The exhibition Murakami by Murakami features not only his artworks, but also aspects of his activities as a collector, gallerist, cultural entrepreneur and activist.

ART NIGHT is free for members of the Astrup Fearnley Museet’s Art Club! Did you know that everyone between the age of 18 and 25 can become a member for only 150 NOK for a year? Are you not a member yet? Buy your membership at the reception upon arrival or online!
