    Friday 29. September we celebrate the museum’s five years anniversary at Tjuvholmen! We invite everyone to an extensive program aimed at the young and the old with guided tours, art talks and lectures, and we finish off the day with our popular concept, Art Night from 19:00 - 23:00.

    Cindy Sherman’s art was shown at Kunstnernes Hus in 1993. Åsmund Thorkildsen, curator of that exhibition, gives an introduction to Sherman´s artistic practice based on his in-depth knowledge of the Postmodern period in American art history.

    Ann Lislegaard (b. 1962) is a post-conceptual artist working in spatial installations, 3-D animation, and architectonic interventions. Her art is typified by a fascination with how we experience and orientate ourselves in space and time, both mentally and physically. She often uses fragmentary and mixed narratives in order to challenge our cognitive and sensory abilities.
