Jeff Koons: Retrospective

04.09.2004 – 12.12.2004
Astrup Fearnley Museet (at Dronningensgate 4)

Over the past twenty years or so, hardly any contemporary artist has attracted more widespread interest in both his life and work than Jeff Koons (b 1955). As one of the most highly profiled “appropriation artists” he works by recycling mass-made articles and images.

For this retrospective we have selected a unique, magnificent work made up of photographic, sculpture and painting elements which not only demonstrates Koons's originality and inventiveness, but highlights the internal connections in his seductive art.

Address: Strandpromenaden 2, 0252 Oslo
