Bull.Miletic - Heaven Can Wait: The Revolving Restaurant as Cinéma Trouvé

Bull.Miletics livslange prosjekt 'Heaven Can Wait' omhandler roterende restauranter som en optisk enhet.

Selv skriver de:

"In our life-long project Heaven Can Wait the revolving restaurant is treated as an optical device, where the attributes of elevation, enclosure and mechanical motion evoke a unique cinematic experience –– a cinéma trouvé. In the on-going process of documenting the 360-degree "moving" views from revolving restaurants around the world, we have studied this unique architectural phenomenon through video, photo, collage and text since 2001. Specifically designed for KinoKino, 24 slowly revolving projections will display a selection of 24 views in their original speed and direction, periodically overlapping and dissolving into each other to create new versions of natural and urban landscapes from above."

Heaven Can Wait, er en del av gruppeutstillingen This Must Be the Place (Pick Me Up And Turn Me Around) som åpner 13. september ved KINOKINO, Sandnes.
